I am living in Israel,
and all my life I
was educated to
see arabs as my enemies.
But I do not want to
become
a slave to prejudices,
to biases,
to racism and
apartheid
I want to be free
to choose
my enemies
for myself.
I want to be free
enough to
chant Allahu Akbar
from rooftops,
because
I do so want
believe that G-od...
is one,
is great,
is full of compassion.
That he made us
all human beings
in his charchter,
as equals.
